The 2010 RBC Bank Buddy Walk, presented by the DSAC

Saturday October 9^th from 2pm till 6pm 

The DSAC will hold its annual Buddy Walk on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Freedom Park in Charlotte. The Buddy Walk is a rain-or-shine afternoon of fun and excitement, highlighted by a one-mile walk around the Freedom Park pond to show our commitment to improving the lives of individuals with Down syndrome as well as raise awareness in the community.

The Board of Directors of the Down Syndrome Association of Charlotte is pleased to announce two new part-time staff additions. Terri Leyton and Lisa Simon have been named DSAC’s Program Director and Development Coordinator, respectively. They are the organization’s first staff members in its nearly 25-year history as a volunteer-led family support organization.
