This Practice Bulletin extends the previous guidelines by now calling upon all women, regardless of age, to be offered invasive prenatal testing (such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling) for conditions such as Down syndrome. Support Group
An email support group has been set up by members of the DSAC. It is a place to chat with other members, ask questions, offer advice, as well as, post pictures of your family. This is a great way to get in contact with other people in the Charlotte area who have children (or other family members) with Down syndrome. The more people that join, the more active the board will be.
